The Financial Secretary, Stephen Timms MP, has announced the UK's treaty negotiating priorities for the year to March 2010.

The UK Government plan to take forward work on new Double Taxation Conventions with:

• Australia
• Austria
• Belgium
• British Virgin Islands
• Cayman Islands
• Croatia
• Ethiopia
• Germany
• Hungary
• Israel
• Luxembourg
• New Zealand
• Oman
• Qatar
• Spain
• Switzerland
• Thailand

They also plan to take forward work on Tax Information Exchange Agreements with:

• Anguilla
• Gibraltar
• Turks & Caicos Islands
